Holy Ghost Party

Every day is a day of thanksgiving, so thank God anyhow for giving you another day to enjoy.  What will you do to enjoy it?  You can have a “pity-party” or you can Praise God and have a “Holy Ghost Party!”  I choose the latter because “ain’t no party like a Holy Ghost Party, ‘cause a Holy Ghost Party don’t stop!”...
The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, saith the Lord of hosts.  The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former...(Haggai 2:8-9a)

COME AND DINE WHERE THE TABLE IS SPREAD

Come and dine where the table is spread with some authentic soul food.  This soul food is prepared and marinated with spiritual ingredients only.   O taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8a).  Try God and allow Him to Prove just how good He is!  If you look through my Bible, you will find the letter “T” preceding many verses and the letter “P” immediately at the end of that particular passage.  What is the significance of the letters “T” and “P”?  The letter “T” is significant because I “Tried” Him, and the letter “P” means that He “Proved” Himself to me...The Lord is yet blessing me right now!
Job says “I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12a).  You must have a desire for the Word of God and meditate therein.  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby” (1 Peter 2:2).  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:  for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success” (Joshua 1:8).  As you study God’s Word, apply it to your heart and commit those things to memory.  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (II Timothy 2:15).   “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee” (Psalm 119:11).
I recently fasted for 66 days and abstained from that which I most desired in the physical sense:  “Sweets!”  This fast equated to one day for each Book of the Bible (from Genesis to Revelation—66 Books).  However, I consumed more spiritual food during the process while abstaining from the physical food.  So please accept this personal invitation to a spiritual feast where the table is spread with something Old (Testament) and something New (Testament).  O taste and see that it’s all good for the soul!

This Is The Day That The Lord Has Made...

This is the day that the Lord has made...I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank God for another day.  I will rejoice and give thanks for what I sometimes take for granted.  Thank You God for waking me up this morning.  It was not the alarm clock; it was not the sound of the birds chirping; but it was Your mercy and grace that kept me so I give You thanks.  I submit my body unto You as a living sacrifice—holy and acceptable—for this is required of me.  I will not be conformed to the customs of this world, but rather be transformed by the renewing of my mind.  I understand Your Ways are higher than my ways, and Your thoughts are higher than my thoughts.   Please order my steps and guide my feet in Your Word, so I will not be overcome by any evil.  I want to do Your perfect will...allow my will to be lost in Thine.

I have fasted from that which consumed me and I thank You for the revelatory knowledge You have given me during the process.  I thirst and hunger for more wisdom, knowledge and understanding.  Open up the floodgates of heaven and pour out a fresh anointing upon Your servant.  Cover me with the robe of righteousness to exegete Your Word...Use me as Your modus operandi to preach Your Word with power; it shall produce fruit, accomplish and prosper wherever You send it.  When it’s all said and done, I shall be ever so mindful to give Your Name the glory and honor for the awesome blessings that overflow.  In the Marvelous, Magnificent, Matchless and Majestic, Mighty Name of Jesus I pray—Amen.

Now I can have my cake and eat it too!

We've Come This Far By Faith--Church Anniversary (148 years)

Words are inadequate to convey how honored I am and how humble I feel to celebrate our church’s (Divine Baptist Church) 148th anniversary.  I honor God for this opportunity to serve, and I honor you for your demonstration of love and support in our every endeavor.

Allow me to respond with a BIG THANK YOU for all you’ve done!  Truly God is Good All the Time and All the Time God is Good...GIGATT & ATTGIG!

God has a purpose for each and every one of us and we must continue to face the future with faith.  As we run this race of life, we are reminded that the race is not given to the swift, nor the battle to the strong... but let us run with patience the race that is set before us (Eccles 9:11 & Heb 12:1).

Sometimes, we look behind and are amazed as we reflect on how far God has brought us.  We are encouraged by God’s blessings from the former days, and are assured from our biblical teachings that our future will be greater than our past.  The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former (Haggai 2:9a)...The Best Is Yet To Come!

We honor the efforts of those trailblazers and pioneers who had an enormous impact on the establishment and sustainment of this great church—Divine Baptist Church.  It is evident that God moved by the Power of His Holy Spirit to work through these great men and women to bring us to where we are now, 148 years of Divine blessings.  "We've Come This Far By Faith!"

May God bless us and keep us focused as He leads us with a

2011: New Year--New Decade--New Season

The Bible tells us in I Corinthians 2:9, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.”  Give God the glory for He is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh within us.
This is a New Year but this is also a New Decade.  Not only is this a New Decade but God wants you to know that 2011 is your season of exponential blessings.  This is a New Season with new opportunities so you need to prepare your vessels for the overflow.  God is moving with such Power that you just might miss your appointment if you’re not prepared to receive your blessing.
It’s not what you’re used to seeing!  This is something totally different.  A “Change” is taking place!  Let go of the Past, grab hold of the Present, and Reach for the Future!  God is doing a new thing and it has begun to spring forth.  Shall you know it when you see it?  It is a Divinely Illuminated Vision Inspiring New Expectations.  Get your vessels ready for the Divine overflow.
The windows of heaven are already open...prepare your vessels for increase!
